Parents are encouraged to be an active member of the school community. There are many ways that you can become a part of the education development of your child. Some of the ways, you as a parent can be involved include; taking an hour a month to read to the younger grades, helping to run a club after school, coaching a sporting team or simply talking to your child about what they did each day in school.

Another way to get involved is to become active in the Home and School association. This group of parent helps to raise funds for special programs that normally the school might not purchase. Recent purchases include a new reading program.

The school council is another way to be involved. This small group works directly with the Principal to help set policy. Terms for the council run 4 years.
