As part of our mission and philosophy at St. John the Baptist School we believe athletics to be an integral part of the total education of our children. A special thanks for our successful athletic program goes to our coaches and parents who volunteer their time through our Athletic Association. Parental support is an essential element of our athletic program at St. John the Baptist School.  Through their leadership, our student athletes learn to build not only skills, but also the importance of team cooperation, winning and losing, and character development.

Girl's Volleyball:

Girl's Volleyball runs from the beginning of school until mid-October. We play in the Catholic Central Volleyball league. This means we play St. Henry (Watertown), St. Jerome(Columbus), St. Joseph (Ft. Atkinson), St. Katherine Drexel (Beaver Dam), and St. Bernard (Watertown). The season finishes with 1 of the teams hosting a tournement. This year the tournement is at the Watertown High School.

All girls are encourage to play volleyball. We do not have try-outs or make cuts. We strive to give equal play time to all girls, regardless of their abilities. Currently we have 4 teams. Two teams are in the "C" division which is 5th and 6th graders, and 2 "A" division teams with 7th and 8th graders.
